One of the things I wasn’t prepared for with a baby is the huge rate of change. It’s not just new behavior and abilities that you witness, it’s also changes in physical size as well. I was astounded this morning to put her in the exersaucer and discover that she was able to stand flat-footed in it. Last weekend, when we bought it, I read the instructions about setting the height so that she could stand on tippy-toes only, and had set the height accordingly. This means that she’s grown about an inch in her legs this week!
And her hair is getting incredibly long – the stuff on top is nearly two inches long. She constantly has ‘bed hair’. I wonder when we’ll have to start cutting it? No!!!!!!!
