I’ve heard tons of mums say that their baby eats better than they do. It’s so true. Rose eats a lot of organic food. Her diet consists of vegetables, fruit, grains, and beans and lentils. I make sure there’s a balance of low-GI, as well as proteins and carbs. This morning I cooked up a batch of parsnip, apple, spinach and basil, some for lunch today, some for the freezer. It was so much hard work peeling everything, then steaming and pureeing.
And what will I have for lunch? A vegemite sandwich, probably.
